Caminar a Bahia
With Austin now off serving on his mission, I have started a new walking journey which will take place over the course of the two years that he is serving in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. I will be walking the distance from Seattle to Bahia Blanca during that time. The total distance is 7,020 miles. I have found that this goal helps bond me to my kids and lets them know that I am thinking and praying for them every day as we each work toward fulfilling our respective missions. This will be almost ten miles per day, and it seems crazy, but I know I can pull it off because I did it before on the #walktoprague during Autumn's mission in the Czech Republic. Since Austin left on 6/18, I have now walked over 100 miles in the last 11 days. I am adding this mileage onto the total miles that I have walked since Autumn left in July of 2016. Total miles since then is now at 8,786. With 7,924 remaining for my #ToddlingAroundTheWorld goal, the walk to Argentina will bring me almost all of the way home! Hard to believe I have been doing this for almost three years now. Only two more years (103 weeks now) to go! I got a bracelet with the Argentine flag on it (Austin has a matching one :)) that I am wearing during the walks to let Austin know that I will always be with him on the #walktoBahia
