Surprise Lake - Day 76
Today we were planning on doing our Miller bike thriller bike ride on the mountain to sound Trail. This will be our ninth annual bike ride. We weren’t planning on going until 10 AM, so I decided I should still go get some of my walking miles in. I ended up going through Milton and around Surprise Lake and then back home so that was about 6 miles. When we went up to Preston to start the bike ride and had a nice ride with the girls. Right before we started, Austin called on Google hangouts so we got to talk with him for about 10 minutes before starting the ride. He talked about how he wished he could ride it with us, since he has done each of the other eight rides this was the first one he had missed. But we know he is in the best place in the world for him.

Autumn was doing well until we hit the stretch where there was a gravel trail and that really jog old her head around, Which was not good for somebody that’s recovering from a concussion. So she ended up going another 5 miles or so and then getting picked up by LeAnn. I continued on with Jaylin and we had a nice ride together it’s a pretty ride cross Lake Washington and into Seattle. I’ve forgotten how many wheels they were going through Issaquah though. Actually not Issaquah more of Mercer Island. Jaylin was super tough and battled up all of the hills and set a good example for me. So even though my knees were hurting since they haven’t been riding bikes for a while I pushed through. It was a good day got a lot done I guess I even did a biathlon. Ended up with a 9.2 miles of walking For the day.
