Day 304 - 3,111 miles in

Many people have asked me, now that Austin is home for a bit, whether I am still doing my Walking journey.  Absolutely I am! I fully intend to finish what I started and complete the #walktobahiablanca. Austin gave everything he had while he was a missionary there, and I am determined to give all I’ve got to get there as well.

We still don’t know exactly what might happen in the future with his missionary experience. He may end up getting called somewhere else stateside, or even end up back in Argentina once things settle down with the virus. It’s an unknown entity at this point. Hopefully, we will have more information to go on in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, I have so enjoyed having Austin around these past 17 days. It makes me smile every time I see him around the house. We have even been on a few walks together! What a special opportunity to walk with my son on this journey to Argentina!
(One exciting post script is that right after Austin got home, our church announced that they will be building a temple down in Bahia Blanca! After hearing that news, we knew that one way or another, we will get Austin back there to see the temple when it is completed. :))

I am now at 3,111 miles complete, which is down near Nicaragua in Central America. 3,909 to go. ‘Tis but a smidgeon!

Trout lake with Autumn in the morning. Then hit the treadmill in the evening. Autumn and Austin have been our door dashing at night and doing quite well. People have been very generous with their tips. A couple oftimes they have gotten $20 tips on one order.
