Day 479 - Utah National Parks Challenge
Today I was able to complete the Utah National Parks Virtual challenge. I came in seventh place on the leaderboard. It took me 39 days to complete the 369 mile distance. I came in at 9.49 miles per day, just a bit short of my 10 mile per day goal. There were a few days of travel within that time period where we were driving back and forth to Idaho for Autumn and Clay’s sealing at the Rexburg temple. Given that, I cut myself a little bit of slack as its hard to walk much when you are in the car for 12 hours a day. :) I thought I would be one of the crazy ones that did that much mileage each day. Apparently, there are more crazies out there that are not only older, but walk/run more than 20 miles a day! I have slacked off a bit in posting updates on www.toddlingaroundtheworld.com blog since Austin came home last week. I will work on getting posts in there more frequently going forward.
