Day 237 - American Messi

This was the letter we got from Austin today. He has been crowned as the 'Neighborhood Messi'! :) Hey everyone, Ayirton is the other child of Fabian and Cinthya that wasn’t baptized with the family. We have been playing soccer with him every week for the past couple of months and we have become really close. He said that he now wants to be baptized in the church so that he can live with his family forever 🙂 Adrian is continuing to progress and is very interested in the plan that God has for him here in the earth. We also play soccer with him haha Mirco is 13 and wants to be baptized like his older brother. He is super cool and loves to show me all of the new rap songs that come out in the US each week haha His older brother Tiago is amazing at soccer and might go pro. We play with them each week too haha One experience I had… We were walking in the street and a group of 14 kids came up to us and were laughing and asked if we wanted to play a game of soccer with them in the street. I was like “sure” and they were like “wait what, really” haha so we started playing and one of the kids on my team pointed to the kid with the ball and said “he’s only 16 and look how he plays! He’s the Messi of the neighborhood”. By the end of the game I scored 6 of our 8 goals and the same kid came up to me and said “wait, maybe you could be the new Messi of the neighborhood” HAHA I mean no one there was above the age of 17, but I was still pretty proud of myself 🙂 After the game us and all 14 kids sat down in the street and had a lesson about the plan that God has for us. They all listened and we are going to go visit them again. Great way to end a day 🙂 I love you all! Time is flying by, there are so many miracles that I see each day. You are all in my prayers Love, Elder Miller
