Day 366 - Austin’s Missionversary
Austin celebrated one year out as a missionary today. He left on June 18th, 2019

He has made many new friends, brought many people smiles, and grown immensely in wisdom and stature. Here is the entry he posted on Facebook summarizing the culmination of his first year. This is truly what being a missionary is about, and why I work to honor his service through this #walktobahiablanca
‘ One year ago today I left my home to serve a mission in Bahía Blanca Argentina. I am so grateful for the people I've met and the experiences I've had. They have changed my perspective on the world we live in. We are living in some strange times; however, there is so much good in this world. So much light.
I know that we have a Heavenly Father and that he loves me and knows me. I have learned the importance of faith and of prayer. We don't know what's going to happen in the coming weeks, months, or years. I do know that as I continue to share about Jesus Christ, about happiness and light, that good things will come.
I invite you all to find some new ways to spread some happiness! Do an act of service for a loved one. Write a family member or friend a letter, thanking them for something. Smile at the people you see when you go outside (even if you're smiling through your mask :))
I love the people of Argentina! After spending almost 10 months there, I was sent back home due to Covid-19 and have been temporarily reassigned to serve in the Las Vegas West mission. I love the people here too! I know that this is where I'm supposed to be right now, helping the people here.
I love you all! More than halfway there 😎
Aguante Argentina 🇦🇷’
