私はそれで終わりです!

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a #toddlingaroundtheworld update. I slowed down a bit these past couple of months as my health issues have reared their ugly heads with a vengeance. Some days I have just felt too awful to get up and go. The pain usually subsides in the early afternoon, so I have been able to get out then, but it has been rough and I’ve had to really push through the pain. Given that, I have hopped back on the Toddling train more diligently this past week and have goals set to finish out the full distance of walking around the world (16,710 miles) by the end of the year! It will have taken me 5 1/2 years to complete, and as of today, I have just 337 miles left. That is 8.4 miles per day. As they say in some of the countries I have walked to: 私はそれで終わりです!jsem z toho celý ¡Ya lo superé! (I’m all over it!) I didn’t really realize what I was getting myself into when I started that short, painful walk around the block 5 1/2 years ago, but has been amazing to see what you can accomplish when you dedicate your goals to your health, your family and to yourself. Having my family’s support and their cheering me on has given me all of the incentive in the world to finish the journey. What we believe, we can achieve!
