Nosh N Walk: Week 33 and 34
#millersnoshnwalk weeks 33 and 34
We went with our good friends JoAnn Z. And Paul to a place in Fed Weezy called Shabu Shabuya. This is a popular type of cuisine in Japan, where they bring the meat to your table and you cook it yourself in a hot pot. We ordered a beef and a pork plate to share between the four of us. They were giant portions of meat, veggies, gyoza, tofu and more. It was fun to cook together and have some great conversations.
LeAnn went to Idaho to visit our girls this weekend, so we had to squeeze in another Nosh on Tuesday before she left. We decided to head out towards Dash Point and try a Thai place on Hoyt. When we got there, found that they were doing take out only, so ended up next door at the Mediterranean Gyro Grill, where we ordered Chicken Souvlaki and a Gyro Plate. We also had some ‘Greek Fries’ which weren’t all that great, but enjoyed the other dishes.
It’s been pretty rainy this past month, so haven’t walked outside too much. I have been hitting the treadmill instead though to get those #toddlingaroundtheworld miles in! 😉
