Missionary Marathon: Sister Julien and Sister Ford
One of the new goals that I have as I move forward with my walking Journey to complete walking 24,901 miles of #ToddlingAroundTheEquator, is to focus on the amazing missionaries that I know that are serving around the world. I will dedicate walking a marathon of miles for these missionaries and will tag them as #missionarymarathons.
The past two weeks I have walked two marathons for two fantastic Sister Missionaries who have been serving in our Jovita Creek Ward - Sister Abigail Ford and Sister Madison Julien. They are wonderful women of God and so friendly and faithful in their service. We have had them for dinner a number of times and love spending time with them.
Here are their introductions so you can get to know more about them and why they are so special:
========
Sister Madison Julien from Mesquite NV
She Loves reading, running and Sushi!
What she loves about her family and being a missionary:
“My family is amazing, I have a deaf momma who is the most inspirational person I know and my dad is a business owner who has taught me to work hard! I'm the oldest and my two younger brothers wrestle and I have a little sister who does volleyball.
I wanted to become a missionary because I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ so much! I love helping people feel the love that their Savior has for them, because I know that once we know who we really are and how loved we truly are it changes the course of our destiny! We are meant for greatness and that is only achievable through Jesus Christ who makes all things possible.”

Abigail Lucile Ford from Kingsport Tennessee
She loves Anything music, calligraphy, reading, and being with my family!
Her favorite food is tacos!!!
What she loves about her family and being a missionary:
“I'm the second of five kids ages spanning from 22 to 5 years old! I have the best parents in the world who are spiritual giants and my family loves to laugh! I am so so blessed and love them all so much!
Why you wanted to become a missionary: Because of my Savior Jesus Christ. I have seen the power from His atoning sacrifice change my life and others. His sacrifice is the most increadible gift ever given and we learn all about it from the Book of Mormon and the Bible! It is something that, as Ether 12:4 says, anchors my soul!
If there is one thing that I know it's that Jesus Christ loves me and that His love is ever constant and it can reach the deepest parts of who we are if we let Him in and have faith in Him!”
