Seattle to Bahia Blanca: mile 6886.9

06/14/2021 ONLY 14 DAYS UNTIL I GET TO BAHIABLANCA! For those of you that have been missionaries, or have sent out missionaries, you know that two years is a freaking long time! For two years I have walked 9.6 miles a day to reach the mission where Austin served so diligently. He has taught me so much during this time- about diligence, faith and love. Even as he has returned back to college now, and is doing well and is happy there, he continues to inspire me to endure to the end and complete this #seattletobahiablanca journey of 7,020 miles. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ While walking from #SeattleToBahiaBlanca the past month, I have continued working on the #TreadmillMovieMarathons. I mixed it up this time around and watched and studied films about Japan. This is a country that I love so much, with people that I will never forget. Watching these movies brought back so many fond memories, and it was great to watch quite a few of them that were in Japanese and realize that I could do pretty well with the comprehension. It was quite a nostalgic journey. One of the more epic ones I watched was Shogun. This was 540 minutes worth of spectacular. I recall watching it with my dad in the 80s when it came out and being quite intrigued with the Japanese culture, even before I was called to serve a mission there. It was quite a bit more meaningful watching it this time around after having lived there and experienced Japan in real life. I finished 28 Japan-themed movies 3,862 minutes, = 8.1 marathons, approximately 212 miles ============= #SeattletoBahia Total Start: 6/18/2019 7020 #SeattletoBahia Completed 6886.9 #SeattletoBahia Remaining 133.1 #ToddlingAroundtheWorld Completed 15,563 #ToddlingAroundTheWorld Remaining 1,147 2021 miles Completed 1448
